Visiting the Museum
The museum is now closed for the season. We will re-open for our 60th anniversary season on Friday, May 26, 2017. Please stay tuned for news about the opening of our brand new, 18,000 square foot exhibition, The Adirondack Experience.
We are located at 9097 State Route 30 in Blue Mountain Lake, NY.

Lake View Cafe
Visitors may enjoy fresh soups, salads, sandwiches, hot entrees, kid-friendly items, desserts, and fountain drinks while admiring the view over Blue Mountain Lake. Daily specials provide a taste of the season. Open 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. for snacks and drinks; full menu and hot foods 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
We make every effort to ensure that all visitors have a satisfying visit. Wheelchairs, wheeled walkers, strollers, hearing assist devices (Auditorium only), wagons, and transcripts are available; electric scooters are available for rent.
For those who wish to bring lunch, picnic areas are available. The museum has three areas that can accommodate group picnics. Individual picnic tables, trash receptacles, and recycling centers are scattered throughout the scenic grounds.
Free Wi-Fi service is available in most areas throughout the campus during our open season.

The museum's Visitor Center & Museum Store are open Wednesdays - Sundays, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with shopping, holiday fun, free exhibitions, and more!
