Rustic Furniture Fair Preview & Benefit
September 10, 2010
Take advantage of a chance to shop for that special, one-of-a-kind rustic piece that you've been waiting for — and support museum exhibits and programs at the same time.
The Rustic Fair Preview begins at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 10. For four hours our guests have "first pick" of the uniquely crafted tables, chairs, desks, antler art, and much more that make this event the place to buy "rustic."
An original work of art by Barney Bellinger of Sampson Bog Studio, Mayfield, N.Y., will be sold via silent auction during the Rustic Furniture Fair. The painting is called Rodney's Camp and is in an antique Victorian frame with extensive antique fly rod embellishments. Place a bid at the Preview and Benefit on this one-of-a-kind piece. Bid sheets will be available in the Visitor Center. The winner will be announced at 3 p.m. on September 12, 2010.
Tickets are $100 and include the early buying opportunity and delicious hors d'oeuvres, wine, or beer. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, September 10! Please call (518) 352-7311, extension 119 to reserve a ticket today. Museum closed to general public.
