Woods and Waters: Outdoor Recreation in the Adirondacks
A visitor favorite is getting a facelift!
Woods and Waters will feature new research by noted environmental and Adirondack historian Phil Terrie to guide visitors through the history of outdoor recreation in the Adirondacks. Historic and present day photographs will provide a lively view of Adirondack recreation with a focus on people in a wild setting.
Adirondack Voices, a new interactive computer and web-based activity, will be introduced in May. This activity will be accessible in Woods and Waters, or through the museum website. We invite you to join in a conversation about the past, present, and future of the Adirondack Park.
