The Log Hotel: Hotels, Camps and Adirondack Clubs
Built in 1876, the Log Hotel is original to the museum's site and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Once part of Merwin's Blue Mountain House, a summer resort, the hotel's lobby and a guest room help visitors imagine the early days of tourism in the Adirondacks.
The Log Hotel includes the exhibit Hotels, Camps and Clubs — featuring artifacts related to travel, lodging, Adirondack children's summer camps, and private camps and clubs.
